Banjo is a brown bear and the main protagonist of the Banjo-Kazooie series with, along with his red-feathered friend Kazooie. Banjo's first appearance was in the Nintendo 64 racing game Diddy Kong Racing where he was one of Conker's friends.

Diddy Kong Racing[]
Banjo was just another racer along with Diddy Kong in Diddy Kong Racing. But due to him being quite popular, he was picked out to star in his own game, with him as the protagonist.
Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie[]
The before mentioned game that would star Banjo, would be Banjo-Kazooie, and Banjo-Tooie, these games would also be the first appearance of Kazooie. He would later star in later games also, along with Kazooie.
Conker's Bad Fur Day and Conker: Live & Reloaded[]
In both Conker's Bad Fur Day and Conker: Live and Reloaded, they make a cameo; Banjo's head is stuffed and mounted over a fireplace in The Cock and Plucker. Kazooie can be seen in the closet as an Umbrella.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[]
Banjo and Kazooie are back in a game with Diddy Kong over 22 years after Diddy Kong Racing.
