"Franky, just go over there and kick his ass, for ****’s sake."
―Ron talking to Franky about Conker

Ron the Paintpot is a cruel paintpot in Conker's Bad Fur Day and Conker: Live & Reloaded who verbally abuses Franky as well as anyone who sets foot in the Barn. He is never seen without Reg by his side, who has a nasty habit of repeating everything Ron says. When Conker comes in, he and Reg tell Franky to "kick Conker's ass", also bluntly claiming his status as a paint pot when explaining why Franky has to be the one to do so when the latter initially refused. After he fails to do so, Ron and Reg tell him to kill himself, while also denouncing his attempt as "the shittest, crappest, crappiest, shittiest kick ass [Ron] had ever seen". He then mocks Franky for his failed suicide attempt (as, being a pitchfork, he "lack[ed] a neck of any description"). He also proceeded to mock his falling down when falling (due to Conker throwing knives at the rope hanging him), as well as cuss Conker out as a "dumb shit" for cutting Franky down from the rope, and also laughed at them when Franky declared them best friends, eventually causing Conker to forcibly place Reg into Ron's "mouth."

Although Ron appears hostile and abusive of his peers, he becomes scared alongside Reg once the disguised Haybot asserts his dominance for the defeat of Franky.

At the end of the game, Ron, Reg and Franky (together known as "The Barn Boys") come in the throne room, and join the rest of the gathered characters in cheering their new king.

Trivia[]

  • Oddly, despite "shit" being permitted to be used most of the time in the N64 version, Ron is one of only two characters whose use of the word "shit" is censored (the other being the fat weasel guard defecating behind a rock in the Uga Buga chapter's conclusion).
  • He is named after Ronnie Kray of the Kray twins who were brutal London gangsters.
